Northwoods Kidz

Northwoods Kidz is the children's ministry of Northwoods Church. It's an uplifting and Christ-centered place for families to partner with the church to engage them with the gospel and show children what it means to follow Jesus.

Luke 2:52 describes what Jesus was like as a child. At Northwoods Kidz, we want to help children grow in the same way Jesus did:

-In Wisdom

-In Faith (favor with God)

-In Friendship (favor with man)

We think everyone experiences spiritual growth best in community. We grow from a number of different experiences in life, but following Jesus is something we do together in Northwoods Kidz LIFE Groups, Kidz Church, and AWANA! We engage your kids through games, songs, interactive Bible Stories, group activities, and more. Through take-home resources each Sunday, our family app - The Parent Cue - and our Kidz page, we help empower parents to keep the conversation going all week long!

Check-In

• How do I check my child in? First, thank you for joining us! Kidz in Nursery - 5th Grade will be checked in at the Kidz Desk which is right inside the double doors at the playground entrance. Our greeters will welcome you and gather some important information. You will receive a set of printed nametags with a matching code, one for your child and one for you. After the service, present your parent tag to your child's leader, and they will match the code from both stickers.

• If a guardian tag is misplaced, we will ask you to complete a short “Lost Guardian Receipt” form with your ID information so that we can safely release your child.

• If your child needs you at any time, we will contact you at the number you provided at check-in.

kidz Life Groups @ 9:30 (nursery - 5th grade)

• Nursery (E-3), Preschool (E-7), K-5th Grade (E-2)

• Small discipleship groups where children build relationships and grow in their faith and friendship with God and others. Their loving adult leaders teach them God’s Word through Bible stories, engaging discussion, games and fun life application activities all connected to the weekly Bible story from 252 Kids.

• Kidz have a specically-designed worship service just for them each Sunday at

  10:45 AM.

• Worship music, Bible-centered lessons, engaging discussion, games and fun life application activities all connected to the weekly Bible Story from 252 Kids.
